Organizational Description Young Workers United is dedicated to improving the quality of jobs for workers in SF. We raise standards in the low-wage service sectors in San Francisco through worker & student organizing, grassroots advocacy, leadership development, and public education. We advance economic justice for young & immigrant workers through strategic partnerships with workers center & immigrants rights groups. Employment Opportunity Young Workers United is seeking a new bilingual (English/Spanish) Co-Director to help lead the worker center and carry out our vision to advance justice for young and immigrant workers in low-wage industries in San Francisco. Responsibilities will include: -Directing the organization in its strategic vision to empower workers and strengthen enforcement mechanisms at the local and state levels -Expand fundraising capacity, including grant development and donor relationships -Build membership and volunteer capacity and leadership -Foster and expand relationships with strategic partners and coalitions -Serve as liaison to Board of Directors -Develop clear goals for campaigns and assist staff and members in achieving them. -Organize to empower workers in improving their working conditions -Assists with worker consultations and wage theft case management -Working collaboratively with staff, members, volunteers, and board to carry out mission Ideal candidate will demonstrate:

The position is full time. Full time salary range is between $49,000-$52,000 depending on experience. Position is open this summer with a part-time transition period with previous co-director.
